Growing up in Rock, Michigan, Rich was introduced to the logging and tree care industry at a young age. By the time he was 13, he was already working with a chainsaw and helping his family in the woods of Michigan’s Upper Peninsula. Logging has been part of his family for generations, giving Rich a strong foundation in the trade and a lifelong appreciation for hard work and quality craftsmanship.

At 22, Rich started his own tree service in Minnesota, where he spent the next 10 years building his experience and serving local customers. He later moved to Wisconsin and, more than 14 years ago, started Kossow Tree Service alongside his brother. Following his brother’s passing, Rich has continued the business as a family-owned company in his brother’s honor.

Today, Rich and his crew bring more than 60 years of combined experience to every job. The team includes two experienced lineworkers, skilled tree climbers, and a certified arborist, allowing Kossow Tree Service to handle tree care projects with knowledge, skill, and attention to safety.

Kossow Tree Service is fully insured and committed to providing dependable, professional tree care while treating every property with the same care and respect we would give our own.
